General Haller's army had 48 120mm cannons. 1878 They were included in the armament of the Polish Army.

The guns had an outdated design, but had very high-quality barrels. It was decided to modernize them in the early 1930s. The guns were mounted on Soviet 6-inch (152-mm) shells from 1909 and 1910.
